2023: We Get It's Breakthrough Year

I can sum up We Get It’s 2023 in one word………BOOM!

As I look back, it really feels like it’s been a breakthrough year.

We grew as a cancer community. We collaborated more than ever. And we significantly boosted the profile of our small but mighty charity.

There were many highlights - here are just a few of the key numbers involved. I’m sure you’ll agree they really provide a sense of how far we’ve come in 2023!

We plan to SMASH IT in 2024 – bringing more events, more campaigns and more support. I hope you will join us and get involved.

Meanwhile, I’d like to wish a Happy Christmas to all our community members, fundraisers, supporters, funders and collaborators.

We are so grateful for your input, support and contributions. You ensure that we can carry on helping more people to live well with and beyond cancer in Bath and the surrounding area.

Three important final shout outs before I sign off…

Firstly, to our community members – it’s been a privilege to witness how you inspire and support each other. We are nothing without you.

The We Get It team work tirelessly behind the scenes. Huge thanks to every one of you for helping us support more people dealing with cancer.

Lastly, as we approach the end of another year, we remember the community members we have lost in 2023. Our love and support go out to their friends and family – we are thinking of you and we are here for you ❤️
