VISUAL JOURNALING
This FREE six-week creative event is for anyone dealing with cancer – any age, any stage, any cancer – or anyone caring for someone with cancer.
What a great way to kick off the new year. Our Visual Journaling courses are incredibly popular among our cancer community members, with many making visual journaling a regular self-care practice after attending.
Here are all the details you need…
Unlike keeping a written diary, visual journaling is a creative outlet to explore thoughts and feelings in a way that aids self-regulation, manages stress and helps to visually connect with your inner self.
This structured series of six weekly sessions will be led by Art Therapist Samantha Hickman from Hope Art Therapy and will provide you with a range of starting points to launch you confidently on your own journaling journey. All materials will be provided.
Be quick – there are only 8 spots available, and they will fill up quickly.

This course is being fully funded by the family of our incredible community member Anne Layfield, who died in March this year. Anne embraced visual journaling and found it an insightful and powerful way to express herself and what she loved about life. Thank you to Anne’s family for funding this course so other people living with or beyond cancer can enjoy the positive benefits of visual journaling.
